No doubt you’ve heard about one of the most popular diets these days. It’s called the Keto Diet, and its main claim to fame is that it recommends high levels of quality fats, moderate levels of protein, and low levels of carbohydrate. This may seem counter-intuitive to you—especially if you were brought up on the USDA food pyramid. Diets in general seem to come and go like fads, but the Keto Diet has seemed to grab people’s attention and become a more popular diet than some of its predecessors. So, what’s it all about? And why are we talking about it on Life Mastery TV?
To answer the second question first, let me just say that a big part of Life Mastery is living a healthy and happy life—and what could be important to that process than the foods we put into our bodies? As to the first question, I’ve invited back my friend and colleague Jacquie Walburn, a Health Transformation Coach and Nutrition & Lifestyle coach who has been investigating and researching the Keto Diet for a few years now.
In this episode, we’ll discuss the trend in some detail and demystify some of the reasoning behind some of the nutritional recommendations. We’ll discuss the following and more:

* Why the Ketogenic Diet?
* What is Ketosis?
